‘On the 27th of February, Mohammed Hilmi and I found at least one singing Lesser Short-toed Lark on the Central Plateau, south of Had Laghouelem (33°17’38.4″N 6°41’59.9″W). We saw at least another bird in the area, possibly another territorial male. The Birds of Morocco does not mention this species as breeding there, so we thought it would be interesting to share this sighting. You can see a picture of the bird here, as well as see a more precise location’ (Pedro Fernandes & Mohammed Hilmi)
