Abstract.
First monitoring of the avifauna of the Key Biodiversity Area Dyr El Kef in Tunisia (2021-2023).
In this article, we report the ornithological monitoring carried out in the “Dyr El Kef” Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) in northwestern Tunisia between 2021 and 2023. Through this monitoring, a total of 82 bird species belonging to 28 families and 11 orders were identified. Of these, the Passeriformes order is the most dominant, with 54 species (18 families) or 64% of the species recorded in the site. The Dyr El Kef site is home to 3 Critically Endangered (CR), one Endangered (EN) and 8 Vulnerable (VU) species according to the National Red List, one of these is also categorized as Endangered (EN) according to the IUCN Global Red List of Threatened Species. The presence of these threatened species requires some urgent measures to improve the conservation status of the site.
ملخص. أول متابعة للطيور في منطقة التنوع البيولوجي الرئيسية دير الكاف في تونس (2021-2023).
يتضمّن هذا المقال تقرير عن أعمال متابعة ودراسة الطيور التي أُنجزت بمنطقة التنوع البيولوجي الرئيسية ”دير الكاف“ في الشمال الغربي التّونسيّ بين عامي 2021 و2023. وقد كشفت عملية الرصد هذه عن وجود 82 نوعاً من الطيور تنتمي إلى 28 فصيلة و11 رتبة. ومن بين هذه الأنواع، رتبة الجواثم وهي الأكثر انتشارًا، حيث تمّ تسجيل 54 نوعًا (18 فصيلة) أي بنسبة 64% من الأنواع المسجلة في الموقع. ويُعد موقع ”دير الكاف“ موطناً لثلاثة أنواع مهدّدة بالانقراض بشكل حَرِج، ونوع واحد مهدّد بالانقراض و8 أنواع معرّضة للانقراض وفقاً للقائمة الحمراء الوطنية ونوع واحد مهدّد بالانقراض وفقاً للقائمة الحمراء العالمية للأنواع المهددة بالانقراض للاتحاد الدولي لصون الطبيعة، ويتطلب الأمر إذن اتّخاذ بعض تدابيرِ الصون العاجلة لتحسين الحفاظ على الموقع.
