A paper about the discovery of a Greater Flamingo breeding colony at Khnifiss lagoon is published in Go-South Bulletin. This is the first breeding case of the species in Morocco since the disappearance of the Iriki colony following the construction of the El Mansour Eddahbi dam near Ouarzazate in the 1970s.

Un article sur la découverte d’une colonie reproductrice de Flamants rose dans la lagune de Khnifiss est publié dans Go-South Bulletin. Il s’agit du premier cas de reproduction de l’espèce au Maroc depuis la disparition de la colonie d’Iriki (Iriqui) dans le Moyen Drâa suite à la construction du barrage El Mansour Eddahbi près de Ouarzazate dans les années 1970.
