In addition to the first winter Iceland Gull seen at Oued Chebeika on 4 February (Cees de Vries, see post of 8 Feb), there has been other records of rare gulls records along the Atlantic coast : two (adult & 2-cy) Glaucous Gulls (Larus hyperboreus) and 8 Great Black-backed Gulls (Larus marinus) at Essaouira on 6 February (Rik van der Starre) and an adult Ring-billed Gull(Larus delawarensis) at Plage Blanche on 4 February (Michael Southcott) (info Moroccan Birds and Observado.org)
