Abdeljebbar Qninba vient de découvrir une petite population de Dromoïques du désert (Scotocerca inquieta, Streaked Scrub-warbler) sur la côte du Sahara Atlantique près de N’Tirift (24°04’N 15°34’W), à une vingtaine de kilomètres seulement au nord-est du PK40 et à près de 200 km au sud de sa dernière observation au sud de Boujdour (Aftissate, 28 janvier 2016).

Ceci confirme l’observation récente de Martin Coates, Peter Clement, Chris Small et Geoff Cowley : ‘a single bird approximately 10km north of the Dakhla turn road junction PK40 (23°57’N 15°39’W on the track to Agricole Nagoir, in an isolated low scrub area just south of the track to the farm area). Watched for a prolonged period on 7 March’
