Une nouvelle note est publiée dans le Go-South Bulletin (21) sur le Bulbuzard pêcheur dans le Nord-Ouest Algérien

Abstract:

Diurnal raptors monitoring was carried out in North-west of Algeria from 2015 to 2023. Spatial distribution for the Osprey Pandion haliaetus was updated and the occurrence of the nesting sites was noted in three coastal areas (Ziatene, Hounaine and Beni Saf). Bird occurrence is also added in different areas of this region, mainly at Hammam Boughrara, Sid Labdeli and Mafrouch dams and in Dayet El Fard. Therfore, urgent conservation measures are needed to protect this “regionally” vulnerable raptor.
