There is a small northward movement of birds breeding at Banc d’Arguin along the Moroccan Atlantic shore, up to The Straits of Gibraltar. This movement starts at end July then birds move South in Oct-Nov. This record falls into this pattern but is really interesting for the number of birds involved – the groups generally include only 1-8 birds.
