4-5 Dromoïques du désert (Streaked Scrub Warbler – Scotocerca inquieta) dont un chanteur au village de pêcheurs d’Aftissate (25°37’N 14°41’W) le 28 janvier. Nouvelle limite sud de présence de l’espèce le long de la côte atlantique. Jusqu’à présent, la limite sud était connue des environs de Boujdour :
- 2 km au nord par 26,117°N-14,480°W en 2010 (Bergier, P. ; Thévenot, M. ; van den Berg, A.B. & The Sound Approach Distribution, habitat, identification and taxonomy of Streaked Scrub Warbler in Morocco. Dutch Birding 35: 107-121)
- au sud par 25°44’N 14°38’W en 2013 (Bergier, P. ; Thévenot, M. & Qninba, A. Notes naturalistes au Sahara Atlantique marocain – 6. Go-South Bulletin 11 : 113-211)
A single Scrub Warbler approximately 30km north of Dakhla i.e. north of the Dakhla turn road junction watched for a prolonged period on 7 March 2016. The exact location can be calculated if required.
