La population d’Ibis chauves a connu une bonne reproduction en 2017 dans la région de Souss Massa, au terme de laquelle il a été noté la reproduction de 122 couples qui ont donné naissance à 152 poussins à l’envol. En fin de saison l’effectif avoisinait les 590 oiseaux.

L’événement majeur de l’année 2017 reste toutefois la découverte de nouveaux sites de nidification sur la côte atlantique entre Imsouane et le Cap Tafelney (info GREPOM)

The Bald Ibis population has performed well in 2017 in the Souss Massa region: 122 breeding pairs were recorded, giving birth to 152 fledglings. At the end of the season the number was around 590 birds.

The major event of the year 2017, however, remains the discovery of new nesting sites on the Atlantic coast between Imsouane and Cape Tafelney (info GREPOM)
